Confidentiality Rule

Every effort is made to respect the privacy and confidentiality of all clients who are or who have ever been in therapy or coaching with me. When a Release of Information is requested at the office, it is solely to help with the therapeutic process. Many times it takes a “team approach”: your medical doctor, your child’s school, sometimes even a trusted friend to help with what may seem like a frustrating mystery about why things are the way they are. Of course, if there are any concerns or questions about any releases it is important to discuss them with any of the professionals at the Center. The only time the confidentiality rule can not be followed is if there is danger, for example, if you are in danger from someone else or yourself.

Insurance

Insurance coverage for various types of psychotherapy varies depending upon your policy coverage.  Please contact the Center to discuss details.  The professionals working at the Center follow the laws of confidentiality (H.I.P.P.A.) regarding information to be released for insurance. Coaching is not covered under insurance plans; however, many times, in the case of Executive Coaching, part of the expense for coaching may be covered by the organization.
